Ticket and Product Sales

Welcome to Big Tix your local Online Ticket Sales provider. Big Tix is authorised to sell tickets for the events displayed on behalf of the promoter / event organiser.

Selecting Products to Purchase

The Big Tix website features include a music and concert ticket shopping cart which allows you to purchase tickets to multiple music events and concerts on the one purchase transaction.

Click the All Venues button at the left of the screen then select the show you wish to purchase tickets for. Or click a particular venue or grouping.

Once you have seleted a product and added it to your shopping cart You can then update the number of tickets in your shopping cart.

You can tOnce all product items have been selected and you are ready to pay for the order  click the Final Check Out and Payment option.

If you are a first time use of this site you will need to Register before you can checkout the items you wish to purchase.

Payment Options

Once you have created an order there are three payments methods available.
Payment can be made either by Credit Card via our payments provider, by Direct Deposit of Cash to our Bank Account or via Cheque Payment to our postal address.

Payments via Credit Card are normally approved immediately after they are processed. Once approved tickets are simply printed from the website.

Direct Deposit will take upto 48 Hours to clear (weekend Payments do not clear untill Tuesday Morning). Payments made by Cheque will take upto 5 days to clear after the reciept of the Cheque at our Post Box.

If making a payment by Direct Deposit or Cheque please make sure you record the Order Number for the payment when you make the Direct Deposit payment or when you send the cheque. Any payments not correctly identified my not be Approved.

Credit Card Payments

Commonwealth Bank Payment Service Big Tix uses a Credit Card Payments system setup with the Commonwealth Bank.

Provided your card is operating correctly and  you have credit on your account, payments will be processed immediately and then you can print your tickets.

This is a secure service and your credit card details are not stored on the Big Tix website.  Click on the pay by credit card option will take you to a Commonwealth Bank payments screen.

Enter your credit card details for the payment.

After the payment has been processed you will be returned to the Big Tix website where you can print your ticket straight away if payment transaction is approved.

Big Tix Direct Deposit Bank Account Details

When making a direct deposit for payment of an order, please ensure the Order Number is included in the details for the direct deposit - payments not correctly identified my not be Approved.

Ticket Delivery - Tickets Sold by Big Tix

Big Tix does NOT post tickets out to you in the mail.

The Purchase Order Ticket displayed at this website along with your personnel identification will become the ticket for the show.

Ticketed Entry to Event

To enter a Big Tix ticketed event you will require 2 pieces of information:

1) Your identification. (e.g. drivers license, proof of age card, etc)
2) Purchase Order Tax Invoice detailing the Transaction ID (this will be displayed after completing the ticket buying process - or when your direct deposit payment has been approved)

Without these 2 pieces of information you will NOT receive a ticket to enter the event. The information is to be presented at the venue door on the night of the event.

Please bring this information and present them at the venue door where a ticket will be provided

Some Big Tix ticketed shows do not use a physical ticket. Instead, patrons are issued a stamp at the door upon entry. Purchasing online tickets from Big Tix will entitle you to receive this stamp.

Venue Details

Entry to venues is based on their own rules and regulations, Big Tix has no influence in these matters. In the event of 18+ shows, venues operate in accordance with the Liquor Regulations of NSW 1983, the only acceptable forms of identification are:

i. A current photo driver's license.
ii. Current Passport.
iii. An "RTA Proof of Age Card"

Venue Management reserves the right to refuse admission to any person and in such an event Big Tix will not refund any admission fee paid.

Use of Tickets Purchased

You cannot nominateYou cannot nominate anyone else to pick up your tickets unless first gaining authorisation from Big Tix managemnent via email. They will then provide information on how the tickets can be used.

Refunds - Extenuating Circumstances

Tickets are sold on a strict no refund or exchange basis. In the event of a cancelled show, you will be refunded the face value of the ticket i.e Ticket Price less the Booking Fee.

In the event of a postponed show, you will be offered a refund or your ticket may be made valid to a re-scheduled show. In both instances please contact Big Tix via email to check details.

The right is reservThe right is reserved by the Event organiser to vary advertised program and to add, withdraw or substitute artists where necessary.

Online Ticket Purchase Availability

Tickets are normally available up until 4:00pm on the day of the show unless sold out.

When tickets are no longer listed on the Big Tix website it does not necessarily mean that that particular shows is sold out although this may be the case. Check with the Venue to see if Door sales are available at the show.

Service Providers

Big Tix engages third parties to provide services on your behalf, which may include collectingor processing your personal information on our behalf. Examples of such third parties includes credit card payment providers. Big Tix insists that any such third parties abide by Australian laws.

Big Tix disclaims any and all liability for the acts, omissions and conduct of any third parties, advertisers and/or sponsors of the Big Tix service or which are in any otherwise related to your use of the service
